Crocheting
I started crocheting around the same time that quarantine kept everyone locked inside. I decided I needed a hobby to keep myself busy, since I could not leave my house. Thankfully, I was able to learn the basics through my grandmother. After learning the basic stitches, all I had to do was search up YouTube tutorials or use my crocheting knowledge to create stuffed animals, flowers, and more! I love gifting people my creations for holidays and birthdays. I have included examples of my work in a collage of pictures.

Hobbies
Choir & Theatre
I was a member of the drama club and choir at Vandebilt Catholic High School for 5 years. In those years, I was able to become Secretary and Vice-President in both clubs. I was presented with extraordinary opportunities, such as auditioning for a nationally auditioned honor choir that performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In New York, I was able to see the Broadway performance of Wicked as seen in the top picture, as well as meet lifelong friends. Three other members of my high school choir also auditioned and performed with the honor choir, who are included the lower picture. Without my choir, drama club, and all the moderators and teachers that helped along the way, I would not be anywhere near where I am today.

Family & Friends
While I wouldn't exactly consider my family and friends a "hobby," I couldn't leave them out! I could not ask for more supportive, creative, or wonderful people in my life. I will be forever grateful for all of the time, energy, and love my family and friends give to me. No matter if they have been with me since day one or just a few years ago, they mean the world to me. I cherish each memory and each adventure we go on, and I thank them for their unconditional love and support.
